Ep. 50 - MCU Phase 4 Retrospective ft. Omar Fallon
In our most ambitious episode yet, we tackle FOURTEEN titles AND have a guest host join us. Today the guys are looking back at the entire Phase 4 of the MCU
You're in for a doozy....
As fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), we have been eagerly anticipating the release of Phase 4. And we have to say, the films and shows that have come out so far have not disappointed.
Phase 4 kicked off with the release of "WandaVision," a unique blend of classic sitcoms and the superhero genre. The show did a great job of introducing new characters and setting the stage for future MCU stories.
Next up was "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," a thrilling action-packed series that explored the aftermath of the events of "Avengers: Endgame." The show did a great job of fleshing out the characters of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, and we can't wait to see what's in store for them in the future.
"Loki" also did not disappoint. The show delves into the character of Loki, one of the MCU's most beloved characters, and explores the multiple timelines he has encountered.
Phase 4 also saw the release of "Black Widow," a long-awaited solo film for the character. The film did a great job of delving into the character's past and setting the stage for her future in the MCU.
Overall, Phase 4 of the MCU has been a great addition to the franchise. Has it been hit or miss? Sure. Has it been everyone’s favorite? I don’t think so. But the films and shows have all been well-received, and I can't wait to see what's in store for the future of the MCU…
